Our Story
This lovely salon began as a blow dry bar in Coeur D Alene; the very first and only in fact. As the need rapidly grew, so did the services we offer! We adore working together as a team, and are thrilled to be able to make the area more and more beautiful, one client at a time!
Meet The Team
Yvonne Dejong
Yvonne moved to CDA fourteen years ago from the central coast of California. Beginning her career fresh out of high school, she’s had many years of experience in cutting, coloring, perming, and styling of all types of hair. Some of her favorite services include highlighting hair and special occasion makeup and hairstyle. Being a stylist most her life, her favorite benefit of her profession, in addition to friendships with each guest, is seeing each one walk out more beautiful and confident than when they walked in.
When she’s not working at Salon Cda, which she loves, she’s spending time with her husband and seven kids.
Selah Glendening
Selah is a stylist and the owner at Sélon Cda. She is third generation local to the area, and plans to never leave. She has been cutting, styling, and coloring hair for 9 years, and absolutely loves every minute of it. Making someone's hair go from dull to vibrant immediately changes the client, and energizes and fuels her passion for hair!
When she is not behind the chair, she is spending time building memories with her husband and three children.
Jen Nosworthy
Jen is starting her fifth year as a cosmetologist at Selon Cda. She specializes in cuts and colors, specifically balayage. She loves doing major transformations and fully enjoys making people feel beautiful. Creating that personalized relationship with clients is very important to Jen.
When she isn’t working hard in the salon, Jen enjoys camping, spending time with family, and hanging out with friends.
Jeri Johns
Jeri is a Montana girl who has twenty-eight years of beauty industry experience, anywhere from being a stylist, a manager, to a salon owner. Her specialities include haircuts and coloring.
Living in Idaho for fourteen years, her hobbies include kayaking, camping, boating, riding around in her RZR, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Tryna Horist
Tryna has been a stylist for 9+, and she absolutely loves hair. Sun-kissed highlights and cuts are some of her favorites, however, the best part of her job is when the clients say, “I love my hair!” She believes in learning and takes classes every chance she gets.
When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find her spending time with her family.
Kristen Nevdahl
Kristen specializes in blowouts, balayage, and hair extensions. with 9+ years experience behind the chair, she has perfected the art of listening to her clients to ensure they leave happy with their hair, while still maintaining its integrity.
In her free time you will find her in the woods hiking, camping, and hunting/fishing. She values time with her husband and two sons at home.
Kylie Emerick
Kylie has been loved by our salon family for three years now, and doing hair for 6. she was born and raised in the PNW She is our most talented makeup artist, and is extremely good at light blonde hair. Doing hair is Kylie's passion; she loves her clients and the new people that she gets to meed daily. Kylie Is such a caring person, everyone who knows her adores her.
When she is out of the salon, she is spending time with her son, friends, and family.
Nicole Eskue
Nicole is rapidly moving her way up the ranks in our salon! She moved here from Texas in 2021. Nicole is very talented at Braids, cornrows, dreadlocks, ethnic hair, and box braids. She has incredible patience for the process hair can require. Nicole is also very talented at doing a voluminous blowout.
In her spare time you will find Nicole rambling around in her adorable bright yellow Jeep, and making new friends in her new home of North Idaho.
